Reading the hand
Free AI palm reading from a photo: what you get, and what a photo can't show
2 free readings, no card. Upload a photo of your palm and an AI reads it, but not the way a chat window does: every claim names the line, mount or finger in your own photograph it came from, and the reading says plainly what the picture could not show.
How a free AI palm reading from a photo works here
You take a photo of your palm on your phone, pick what you want the reading to look at (love, work, a decision you are sitting on, and so on) and upload it. There is no app to install and no "scanner": the photograph is the scan. An AI vision model reads the picture and writes the reading, which arrives as a private web page with a PDF, usually in about a minute.
Every account gets two free readings. You need an email address; you do not need a card. The free reading covers one hand and is written short. The paid readings are longer, and the Full Reading compares both hands, but they use the same method.
Every claim is tied to something in your own photo
Ask a general AI chatbot to read your palm and you will usually get a few warm paragraphs. They read well, and most of them would fit anybody's hand. You cannot tell which sentence came from your photo and which came from the idea of a palm reading.
We split the job into three steps, in order. First the model only looks: it lists what is actually visible in your photograph, line by line and mount by mount. Then it reads, using only that list. Then it answers the question you picked, arguing from the reading above it. Because the evidence comes first, you can check the working: the reading says which line it is talking about, and you can look at the same line on your own hand.
If you tell us something (your life stage, say, or that you are weighing a job offer), the reading labels it "You told us" and keeps it apart from what was read off your hand. We will not hand your own words back to you dressed up as something your palm revealed.
What the photo can't show, said out loud
A phone photo misses things. Shallow lines vanish under flat light, the edge of the palm curves out of shot, and a crease can be a fold of skin rather than a line. Each feature in the record is marked Clear, Partial or Not visible, and where a feature cannot be seen the reading says so instead of inventing one.
The last section, Straight talk, ends by naming what this reading cannot tell you. It is the part most readings leave out, and the one we think matters most.
Getting a photo the AI can read
- Light from one side, near a window, not straight from the front. Side light brings out the shallow lines.
- Hand relaxed, with a natural slight cup, not stretched flat.
- The palm filling the frame from the wrist crease to the fingertips, phone held square to it.
- No filters and no portrait mode. Anything that processes the image removes what is being read.
- Your dominant hand if you only send one.
How to photograph your palm has the full version. If the photo is not a human palm at all, the reading is refused rather than made up.
What happens to your photo
Your hand photo is deleted as soon as the reading is written. The reading lives on a private link that only you are given.
What a palm reading is, and isn't
Palmistry is a tradition, not a science, and nobody has shown it can predict anything. Read it as entertainment and as a prompt for thinking about yourself. Our readings never make health, lifespan, fertility or money predictions, whatever the lines look like. How we read sets out the method in full. New to the practice? Start with what palm reading is, or see what a palm reading scanner really does. Wondering whether any of it holds up? Is palm reading real gives the plain answer.
Common questions
Is there a free AI palm reading from a photo?
Yes. Every Palm & Line account gets two free readings. Upload a photo of your palm and the reading arrives as a private page and a PDF, usually in about a minute. You need an email address but no card.
Is there a palm reading scanner online for free?
There is no scanner to install. A clear phone photo of your open palm is the scan: an AI vision model reads the lines, mounts and fingers from the picture.
How is this different from asking a chatbot to read my palm?
Every claim in the reading names the feature in your own photo it came from, each feature is marked clear, partial or not visible, and anything you told us is labelled separately from what was read off your hand. The reading also says what the photo could not show.
What happens to my palm photo?
It is deleted as soon as the reading is written.
Can an AI palm reading predict my future?
No. Palmistry has no proven predictive power, and our readings are for entertainment. They never make health, lifespan, fertility or money predictions.

The oldest question in palmistry, and most sites get it muddled. The rule is about dominance, not sex — and there is a reason a full reading uses both hands.
